Areas of Expertise

FOOT AND ANKLE RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY

Foot and ankle reconstructive surgery is a specialized area within the field of foot and ankle surgery. It involves surgical interventions aimed at repairing or rebuilding the structures of the foot and ankle to restore function, relieve pain, and improve mobility. This type of surgery is typically performed by board-certified foot and ankle surgeons with advanced training and expertise in reconstructive procedures.

ADVANCED WOUND CARE

Advanced wound care is designed to treat complex, non-healing wounds. It usually requires a doctor’s order to be covered under a patient’s insurance. Foot ulcers (open sores in the skin) are common in diabetic patients and require removal of the unhealthy tissue and advanced wound care techniques to promote healing.

Tom A.

“Dr. Sadoughi is a talented doctor whose expertise is very much appreciated. He is a caring man and really listens to the issue before taking action. I appreciate, too, how knowledgeable he is. He really knows his stuff and is able to pinpoint next steps. Thank you, Dr. Sadoughi. I highly recommend this doctor."

Laura B.

"One of the nicest doctors. Listened to my whole story asked multiple questions about my history trying to understand the pain I’ve been having for years. Performed x-ray and gave me my copies in the same day, and I was able to be in and out and head to work! Very satisfied"

Madeline

“I broke my ankle in 2019 and Dr. Sadoughi did an amazing job fixing it! I continue to see him today and he has always been professional and calming. The office is always clean and the front desk employees are kind and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Sadoughi for any ankle related problems.”
  • How Do I Make an Appointment?
Please contact us at (561) 588-6024 during business hours or email us at footanklerecon@gmail.com.
  • New Patient Forms
Once you have made your appointment you may receive an email with new forms that you must complete prior to your appointment. These forms can be accessed on our website to print and complete.
  • Reschedule an Appointment
We understand, plans change ! We require a minimum of 48 hours to change clinic appointments. Please contact our office at (561) 588-6024 immediately. You may leave us voicemail and we will get back to you ASAP.
  • Billing Inquiries, Who to contact?
Please contact our billing team at (561) 588-6024 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday to Friday.
  • Insurance Card and ID
We require two forms of identification as well as an active insurance card at the time of your visit. We highly recommend that you either call your insurance company and become familiar with your health coverage. You may ask the insurance company if you are covered for custom orthotics (custom shoe inserts) or CPT L3000 x2. If you fail to bring an active insurance card to your appointment, you will be responsible to pay for the services at the time they are rendered. We make every effort to bill your insurance to cover your services however we have NO control over your personal health insurance plan details like deductible, out of pocket, and co-pay.
  • Can I request medication refills without a follow-up appointment?
We require patients to make the appropriate follow-up appointment with the doctor for any medication refills. Narcotic medication, antibiotics, and other medications with a systemic effect cannot be prescribed if the patient does not follow up for the appropriate appointment time. We try to minimize redundancy; however, your safety comes first. Therefore, it is essential to schedule a follow-up appointment to ensure that your medication regimen is appropriate for your current health status. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our office.
  • Phone Calls and Medical Questions
We highly recommend that you ask all your questions especially medical ones during your consultation time with your doctor. Although we make effort to answer simple questions over the phone, we cannot provide formal diagnosis or treatment plans over the phone. The staff who answers the phone aren't equipped to do so either. If you require a consultation, then we kindly ask that you make an appointment time. Our team of podiatrists will be happy to answer any questions you may have during your consultation time.
  • Forms and Admin Fee
Simple forms such as return to school and/or one page forms typically don't require a payment as this can be furnished during your appointment time. However, other medical forms may require time from the doctor outside your consultation time, administration time from our staff and supplies to furnish and complete the form for you. At times, we have to contact multiple different places to complete these forms. We are happy to do so and require time to complete this for you. However, the above time and efforts are not reimbursed by your insurance company therefore we charge a small fee for our administrative time and supplies.
  • Failure to Adhere to an Effective Doctor-Patient Relationship
Remember, Your success is our mission. We are very successful in treating our patients with an extremely high reappointment rate. We rarely have to discharge patients from our practice. However the best treatment plans will fail if the patient decides not to adhere to them despite our efforts. Treatment non-adherence: The patient does not or will not follow the treatment plan or the terms of a pain management contract or discontinues medication or therapy regimens prior to completion. Follow-up noncompliance: The patient repeatedly cancels follow-up visits or fails to keep scheduled appointments with providers or consultants. Office policy non-adherence: The patient fails to observe office policies, such as those implemented for prescription refills or appointment cancellations, or refuses to adhere to mandated infection-control precautions. Verbal abuse or violence: The patient, a family member, or a third-party caregiver is rude, uses disparaging or demeaning language, or sexually harasses office personnel or other patients, visitors, or vendors; exhibits violent or irrational behavior; makes threats of physical harm; or uses anger to jeopardize the safety and well-being of anyone present in the office. Inappropriate, manipulative behavior or criminal conduct: The patient exhibits inappropriate sexual behavior toward providers or staff or participates in drug diversion, theft, or other criminal conducts. Nonpayment: The patient owes a backlog of bills and has declined to work with the office to establish a payment plan or has discontinued making payments that had been agreed on previously. We believe that building a strong doctor-patient relationship is crucial for providing effective healthcare services. However we have a 0 tolerance policy towards persistent verbal abuse, physical threats or contacts and nonpayment. While we make every effort to work with you and your needs, you must fulfill your responsibilities as a patient.
